A mutation in a DNA repair pathway makes the mutant strain highly susceptible to Nitrous acid (see above for hint) and to the depurinating agent Aflatoxin. A mutation in a second DNA repair pathway makes a second mutant strain susceptible to Nitrous acid but not the Aflatoxin. Speculate on what repair pathways are mutated in each strain and why?
