The Figure shows a right view of a bar that can slide without friction. The resistor is R( Ω) and a 3T magnetic field is directed perpendicularly, out of the paper. Let 150 cm be the length of the bar and Fapp (equal to 75 N) be the applied force required to move the bar to the left.

(a) Calculate the resistance R needed to move the bar to the left at a constant speed of v( m/s).
