Were there issues with workload, time pressure, or management of staff? What are some ways the issue should be improved? What type(s) of human factors methods (see course readings) and tools and/or usability methods can be used to test/evaluate the design of the issue you discussed in question 1? [HINT: This should relate directly to your course readings.] Discuss the roles of the advanced practice nurse (NP, nurse anesthetist, nurse leader, or nurse researcher- depending upon your concentration) and nurse informaticist in optimizing usability.
