Patient Info: 51-year-old female Chief Complaint: "right eye pain" History of Present Illness: 51-year-old stay-at-home mother presents to the ED with severe right cheek and right eye pain. The pain started today about 3 hours ago. She reports blurry vision with halos around lights from the right eye and feels nauseated. Past Medical History: None Past Surgical History: None Family History: Allergies: NKA Medications: MVI Immunizations: UTD Social History: 30-year pack smoking history, no ETOH or illicit drug use Review of Systems: Denies recent illness, new medications Physical Exam: Vital signs: BP: 142/88 HR: 82 RR: 14 Temp: 98.3 Weight: 150# Height: 5'7" BMI: 23.49 Right pupil dilated, sluggish to respond to light. Left pupil round and reactive to light. EOMI, Confrontational Visial Fields intact bilateral. Mild diffused injected conjunctiva right eye. Normal left eye.
