A 0.20 kg meter stick lying flat on a frictionless air table is attached to the table with a frictionless pin on one end, so it can rotate around that end. A daredevil slug sitting on a fast-sliding puck (mass of slug+puck=0.1kg) slides along at 5.0 m/s and hits the other end of the meter stick and grabs it with his sticky slime.
