Question 1 In what way are people today subjected "panoptics" in the way that Foucault described (see p. 324). Use the definition of "normalization" offered by Foucault and briefly consider how panoptics has been normalized in your life.

Question 2. Briefly consider how you might be "alienated" as a consequence of some kind of "false consciousness"? In answering this question, draw from the discussion on p. 329-330 but maybe also the section titled "makers who are made" on p. 327.

Question 3. Choose the idea of "hetero-normativity" (p. 333) or "patriarchy" and briefly consider how you are affected by them in your daily life. Specifically, in what ways might you be privileged or oppressed in the context of these ideas and the corresponding binary distinctions they involve?

How exactly could you take this idea and apply it to your personal life? Explain in concrete details how your daily routine might change if you integrated the idea into it? For example: What questions would ask and to whom? What questions would you ask yourself? How often? What technology or products would you avoid or purchase? What media would you avoid or consume? What people would you avoid or promote? How would you speak differently?
