Assignment:
This collaborative discussion is intended to help you reinforce your collaborative problem-solving with other class members and prepare for next week's assignment.
For this collaborative discussion, you will use your developing critical thinking skills as if you were an emergency response team planning to travel globally to collaborate with a country that is likely to be resistant to working with a U.S. team.
Ensure that you are familiar with the communication components of the government agencies in the country that your group selects before responding to the discussion.
While you are encouraged to work with your classmates in teams for this discussion, your grade will be given based on your individual contributions. This collaborative discussion is in a similar format to class participation, but posts here will not count toward your participation in the course. Instead, you will be given a separate grade for the work you complete here.
Your faculty member will start X threads to present the topics below:

- How might this country resist emergency response assistance from the U.S.? What obstacles may exist related to gaps in languages?
- How is this country's approach to network management different from the U.S.? How do we operate within this country if their organizations are not being cooperative with U.S. teams?
- According to interagency collaboration theories and models, what's the best way to reduce such resistance in this country? What needs to change before attempting to provide emergency assistance?
