Question: Blockchain technology alone will create interesting opportunities and challenges for the accounting profession and I appreciate all of the great contributions to the topic. To continue, given a "distributed ledger" environment where presumably it will be more difficult, if not impossible, to change or alter transactions, what new opportunities for fraud may open up (outside of cryptocurrencies)? Or will the primary effect be better security?
