1. Write a paragraph (100-200 words) about what your business does.
2. Define your audience, and develop a detailed analysis of 3 audience members.
a. Segment your prospective audience and provide a rationale for your segmentation. (100 words) You are aiming to identify a basis for the segmentation of your target customers and determine important characteristics to differentiate each market segment. This allows you to tailor your approach to meet each group's needs effectively and gives you a huge advantage over competitors who use a "one size fits all" approach. (Each segment should be internally homogenous and externally heterogeneous.)
b. Target your communication and provide a rationale for your selection. (100 words) Select three segments that are your best prospects based on the attractiveness of each segment. Consider profitability, size and potential growth of the group, and product-market fit.
Develop a detailed analysis of 3 audience members Then take a step back and examine your product or service from the perspective of your chosen segments to identify how you should position your product to the mind of your target relative to your competitors. Think through your potential audience and how you would choose to communicate with them by answering the following questions (500 to 700 words) for each audience:
C. What are their demographic (e.g., gender, age, race, life stage, household size, marital status, income, education, occupation, etc.), geographic (e.g., region, city, urban vs. rural, etc.), psychographics (e.g., values, lifestyle, personality, culture, social class, etc.), and behavioural (e.g., brand loyalty, user status, usage rate, needs, etc.) characteristics?
* What need or desire is your organization meeting, or what problem are you solving for them?
* What are their preferred communication channels and why?
* What are 3 key messages that will make them want to engage with you?
*What tone of voice will you use to connect with your audience?
