A small immersion heater is used to heat water for a cup of coffee. We wish to use it to heat 236 mL of water (about a teacupful) from 25 C to 78 C in 2 min. What must the heat rating of the heater, in kJ/min, to accomplish this? Ignore the heat that goes to the heat cup itself. The density of water is 0.997 g/ml.
