Case: The main facts of the case are that Mrs. Durkheim has ovarian Cancer which is a inherited disease. She and her sister are not in speaking terms, and Dr. Bartlett is the primary physician for both sisters. The main moral dilemma is between Dr. Bartlett's duty to do no harm to other while maintaining the confidentially of his patient. The case is about the tension between the patient's right of autonomy and Dr. Bartlett's duty of nonmaleficence.
