A 0.873-kg block is held up against a ceiling by a pole that makes an angle of 21 degree with respect to the vertical; treat the pole as massless. The coefficient of static friction between the block and the ceiling is 0.45 and the coefficient of dynamic friction is 0.17.

a. Draw a free body diagram of the system.

b. Set up the equation for equilibrium. assume the block is just on the verge of moving across the surface of the ceiling.

c. What minimum force in the pole is necessary to get the block moving?
