1. Identify and elaborate on at least one current issue in journalism that was depicted or discussed in the film.
2. Identify and elaborate on at least one current issue in journalism related to U.S. democracy depicted or discussed in the film.
3. Describe your impression of David Carr, the New York Times reporter featured in the film. Discuss his professional demeanor and what it tells you about how reputable journalists do their jobs. Give an example of what you mean.
4. Find evidence in the film that reputable journalists follow the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics and/or value the findings in the Pew research study on journalism principles. Quote from the code of ethics or Pew study.
