The sign on Marshall's office wall has a Douglas Adams quote that reads: "I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they pass by". Marshall is the Director of Engineering for a software development company. His team is building a leading edge package in a competitive market. You are the VP of Engineering. He is way behind because the project continues to get bigger - partly because the CEO & investors want more, and partly because Marshall & his team are kids in a candy store. This is a start up company, and this is the only product being developed.
