Assignment:

A naive B-cell must first be primed before it can be activated. This occurs when a B-cell makes contact with the antigen through its B-cell receptor. The receptor and antigen are brought into the cell through phagocytosis. Much like a macrophage or a dendritic cell, the antigen is digested, and portions of the antigen are placed on a specific MHC to be displayed on the cell surface. B cells have been numbered so that you can refer to a specific cell.

a. What MHC molecule will a B-cell use to present the antigen?

b. Which step or steps in Module 2 reflect B-cell priming?
