What Matters, Parfit offers three objections - The Rarity Objection, The High Stakes Objection, and The Non-Reversibility Objection - against Kant's Universal Law of Nature. (a) Present any two of these objections systematically and in sympathetic detail that gives a reader a perspicuous account of what Parfit is about. (Finally, (b) provide a probing, powerful defense of Kant against any one of Parfit's objections you have delineated. This essay should reveal the deep and irreconcilable differences between the moral theories of Kant and Parfit.
