Stock investment is sometimes considered gambling. As a Christian University, we ban any type of gambling but we teach finance, including stock investment. Based on reading materials from the textbook and results from at least one external source (please cite the source), discuss why stock investment is not gambling, and what makes stock investment different from gambling.
