The social problem provided was an example of hospitals in Los Angeles were dumping patients with no address onto the streets of Skid Row (Jansson, 2018). Patients with no address were being released and dumped in Skid Row, which is located in Downtown LA, an area that is infested with homeless and drug addicts.
