Introduction
The numbers of wildfires have been increasing by a huge percentage each year either due to climate change or by human carelessness. "Wildfires are a result of temperature conditions, of soil moisture conditions; and, of course, something has to start it"- John Holdren. Human interference to environment has led to climate change, which further conducted to global temperature rise and now it is resulting in wildfires. According to a new report by the UNEP and GRID-Arendal, "Climate change and land use change are projected to make wildfires more frequent and intense, with a global increase of extreme fires of up to 14% by 2030, 30% by the end of 2050 and 50% by the end of the century." If this forecast turns real in future, then earth conditions for human habitat might not stay ideal anymore. Every person has to unite to stop this forecast from becoming real.
This essay will discuss the causes of wildfires, not only the natural cause but also the human factors. Moreover, it will also explain how this type of natural disaster has been effecting the environment and has been leading to a loss of biodiversity, life and property. Lastly, this essay will talk over some possible prevention steps to reduce wildfires such as what effective methods or strategies should fire department use and what laws should have to be implemented by government?

Presentations
In the latter half of the term, you will present a brief visual presentation of your research paper. This presentation will provide an overview & highlights of your research paper. This is your chance to
be creative. Your presentation should be visually appealing (you can include audio if you are tech savvy!) and 5-7 minutes in length. You will upload your presentation to the appropriate Research Paper Presentation link.
You can use PowerPoint, Prezi, YouTube or another acceptable software to create your presentation.
To improve the visual engagement of your presentation, embed images and add a short video clip that highlights your topic.
Make sure you provide a reference page that acknowledges your information and audio visual materials.
