Question: What kind of replies would be helpful for this:
After watching this documentary, I was informed that hundreds of people are put on parole. A lot of people think because you are on parole that you are free and this isn't the case at all. When on parole people don't even know where to begin, people struggle with finding employment, also facing mental health issues. I think when dealing with this they need to not believe these victims so much because this how they go right back down the bad path that they recently got off of. A lot of these victims violate their parole and get put right back into prison. They explained that it wasn't unusual for these paroles to come back once or twice not from committing a different crime but because they violated their parole. Giving these individuals is very rewarding for them and somethings they could do to do help these individuals is help them find jobs. Make sure that when they do get out find them a half way home even or something that is affordable. I never realized what your life would be like on parole. I think this is underlooked and people just think they have all the freedom in the world when in reality they basically are still locked up. This was also eye opening for me however very interesting. I enjoy listening to the peoples stories and hearing how they turned out where they are.
