Farah is the sales manager for Gemilang Corporation, a company producing kitchen supplies that has employees from different countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and China. Over the last two years, the rate of sales growth for the company has dropped. Farah has been instructed to increase the product sales by the top management. Hence, she has planned on making a few changes involving the new sales approach that will be used and new work team that will be set up. However, in the firm, Farah is having problems with the employees' attitude and their lack of enthusiasm towards the changes that are going to be implemented. She also found it hard to build cohesiveness among employees from different background. Furthermore, her assistant, Maleni, had informed her that many new employees in the sales department are inexperienced and inefficient in doing their jobs. Farah recognizes that some improvements are still needed to ensure that the company managed to increase their sales and the employees' will be more enthusiastic with the changes that will be implemented.
