Project - Media Artist Inspiration
Your task for this assignment is to select a media artist of your choice (must be approved by Mr. Tout) and research their artwork and art practice. You can communicate your findings by choosing one of the following: (the artist I selected is Otl Aicher.)
• Writing a research essay 500 words.
• Creating a PowerPoint/prezi presentation
• Creating an information poster
No matter what option you choose, you MUST include: text, information (cited) and examples of the artist's work.
The fun part, The second part of this assignment is to re-create your artist's style and concepts in your own way! You must also use elements from your favorite movie (characters, settings, events, etc) as the overall theme for your artwork. Even though you are using your artist's work to inspire you, that doesn't give you permission to copy something they already did.
You are to answer three essential questions in your essay:
