Case Study: This part was a good refresher for me because the APUS Library truly offers many tools for us to utilize. I realized I tend to stick to what I know, so I discussed some tools I never used before. I like that the Supply Chain Management page offered many different options when researching anything pertaining to my degree course. I like the additional information about the associations I can access within my degree program. I liked the career information provided to help me further my job with descriptions and career services. One of the tabs I decided to look at was Business Source Complete (EBSCO) link under databases, with the option to select a field we want to search with the option of: and, or not to narrow the search down even more.I like the link provided for APUS Library video tutorials, as I watched a few videos on this page that will help me with my writing-located under the Additional Research and Writing, which those videos were called "Writing an Abstract" and "Choosing the best keywords." As this is sometimes, I struggle with choosing and picking the right words when researching. The other two videos that stood out are "Finding and using library databases" and advanced search techniques." My biggest takeaway from the video tutorial link was that there are tools through the Richard G. Trefry Library. There are videos on here to give us a tour, introducing us to the librarians of the library we have access to while we are in school.I decided to check out the Directory of Open Access Journals, as I have never used this one before; I like that we have the option to search for journals and articles for the subject or topic we are working on, it will be of good use in the future, and I tried out Google Scholar again as I only used it once. I'd like to know why I did not use this as an option in my previous class because, in my earlier class, I needed articles back from a specific time frame. That feature alone would be a great help to all of us, with also being able to use an advanced search option.

Questions:

1.What key factors can contribute to supply chain disruptions/shortages, and how can they be fixed effectively?
2. How can the disruptions/shortages in the supply chain with natural disasters impact the occurrence and severity of shortages?
3. How can technology help to improve demand forecasting accuracy and inventory and minimize the risk of shortages in the supply chain?
