Organisational Communication and Leadership Assignment - Organization Project

You can write about the firm Green Mobility.

The purpose of the project is to show that you understand and can use the material covered by the course. Another aim of the project assignment is for students to learn to formulate a problem or task within the field of organizational communication and gain experience in analyzing the problem / task by solving a real case. Based on a private, public or voluntary organization, you should provide empirical evidence for your observations and apply relevant theories in the discussion of your analysis.

In this project the students should:

1. Choose a relevant topic or research question, based on the course material.

2. Collect secondary and / or primary data (ie either qualitative or quantitative) from an organization in Norway.

3. Analyze the data through the selection of relevant methods.

4. Discuss the results, practical implications and any recommendations.

The thesis has the research report as template for structure. It consists of: introduction, theory, method, result, discussion and conclusion. In addition, it will have a table of contents, an overview of tables / figures and a reference list. It can also hold the title of the thesis, abstract, preface and appendix.

The project paper should attempt to answer the following questions (to the extent that they are relevant):

Introduction -

• What issue have you observed in the case organization?
• Why is it interesting and who would be relevant parties?
• Why does it pose a challenge?

Literature review -

• What theories / frameworks / models do you plan to use to support your arguments?
• How can these theories / frameworks / models support yours examination of the chosen problem?

Method / Collection of data -

• What data did you use to analyze your problem?
• How did you collect the data?
• How did you analyze the data?
• What reflections did you make about the validity, reliability and the generalisability of your findings?

Results and findings -

• Describe what you found in the collected material - View graphs / tables with results, if applicable.

Discussion / implications / recommendations -

• What do your findings mean for practice?
• Are your results supported by the theories?
