Questions:

(i) What is Zagzebski's argument against inclusivism about religious truth? (i.e. the view that many religions are true.)

(ii) While we read Clifford's article on the ethics of belief as a way of talking about the ethics of religious belief, his article isn't explicitly about religious beliefs. Clifford hardly mentions religion! And he certainly doesn't endorse the Anti-faith Argument. (Nor does he reject it. The argument doesn't come up at all.) Let's suppose that Clifford was actually an exclusivist about religious rationality - say, in favor of Christianity. If so, would we expect him to endorse the Anti-Faith Argument against belief in God or reject it? And why?

(iii) Hick's article on the Soul-making Theodicy closes with an endorsement of inclusivism about salvation. That's to be expected. Why does his endorsement of the Soul-making Theodicy more-or-less require him to be an inclusivist about salvation?
