e) The demand over the three day lead time is 60 units.

Verify the 60 unit demand over the lead time.

Suppose the standard deviation of demand over the three day lead time is 10 units. In conjunction with your answer in part (b.), please show what the reorder point will be to achieve a 95% service level. (Display the relevant calculations.)

Suppose the vendor offered free delivery, resulting in an ordering cost of $25 per order. However, they charge Generic $0.05 more for each unit. Is it more economical to stay with the original deal or to accept the new offer? Show your work.
