Describe and explain the nature of research, as a phenomenon and a process; the historical framing of a research orientation; the research field, in terms of paradigms or orientations, designs and methods. 2. ECL Chap 3: Research Proposal Contents- What is your thought on developing a research proposal? What is the important for having research proposal in the early stages of research? 150 -200 words. • Resources and funding.

4. EB Chap 17: How would you explain the distinction between qualitative and quantitative research to your mother? What about mixed-methods research? What are some of the most important pros and cons associated with using quantitative and qualitative methods? Are there any new technologies that could help you enhance these pros and minimize these cons? 150 words

5. The reading in this assignment is an excellent example of the issues which could arise in the role of Healthcare Administrator.

As you review the methods of Qualitative Research (it is 1 of 2 methods, the other being Quantitative), consider any surveys etc which you have completed for work or college. Have you determined if they are qualitative or quantitative?
For example, if a survey asks 'what is your experience with teaching materials during your clinic visit ' (as a patient), and expects an open-ended response (your insights shared in sentence form)--that would be QUALITATIVE.
If the survey asks you to rate the above question from 1-5, this would be QUANTITATIVE in design. 150 words
