Description - Students will interview a professional involved with the Homeland Security apparatus in any capacity (e.g., a federal, state, or local law enforcement officer, a probation/parole officer, a prosecutor, a social worker, a mental health worker, an educator, an attorney, etc.) and prepare a PowerPoint, Google Slide, or Prezi presentation to present to the class on the discussion board.

You may interview anyone whose job duties might touch on our national security in some way. For example, a mental health worker, a teacher, a religious leader, or a person working to secure a city's water supply could all play decisive roles in preventing terrorism. Interviews may be conducted in-person, by email, by telephone, by Skype, by Zoom, etc.

NOTE: If your interviewee will not allow you to use his/her name and general title for this project, you will need to select someone else to interview.
