3. What were you taught related to marginalized populations (e.g., ethnic/racial backgrounds, sexual orientation, religion, disability, elderly, etc.) while growing up?
4. Who (or what) are the most significant influences in structuring your racial/ethnic identity?
5. Describe experiences you have had with people/cultures that you perceive different from yourself?
6. As a child, did you have friends from different racial/ethnic backgrounds? Either way (e.g. if your answer is "yes" or "no") how has this influenced the ways in which you view(ed) and interact(ed) with people from other racial/ethnic backgrounds?
7. How were people of different cultures viewed in your family? How were they treated?
8. What messages did you receive (i.e. from family and community) about people who were "different" from you in any manner?
9. Describe any feelings you experience while writing this paper? Do you value the subject matter of Human Diversity? Should it be a concern for social workers, society, or within your chosen profession?
