Archie was sent to the school nurse by his second-grade teacher due to looking red in the face in class. He has fever of 102.4 and the school nurse told mom that his throat was red. Tylenol was given by the nurse 2 hours ago. During the ride from school to your office, he vomited once and fells asleep. VS 99.4 orally, P 110, RR 24, oxygen saturation 98%. On exam, you note: erythematous tonsils with exudate, palatal petechiae, strawberry red tongue and a fine red, sandpaper-like rash on the child's neck, trunk, and extremities; TMs are grey, flat with a good light reflex; no tenderness to palpation of the abdomen. He is tolerating sips of juice in the office. Rapid strep testing is positive. What is your diagnosis and treatment plan?
