Problem

Plan and save a search strategy for your PICO question. Conduct the literature search using any FIU library database CINAHL, MedLine, etc. Save your search history to prevent conducting the same search again -

A. How many hits did you get for the final line of your search?

B. What is your assessment of the effectiveness of your search? Are you confident that it was adequately sensitive and specific? Why or why not?

C. How might a librarian help you in your search? What would you ask a librarian if you needed help?

D. After conducting the above electronic search, identify five research studies related to your PICO question.

Each member must provide the answers on the discussion board along with a summary of the search.

Summarize the selected research (20-48 articles = 4 per team member) on the Summary Table tool Download Summary Table toolwhich meet the following inclusion and exclusion criteria:

1) Original research studies published from 2018 to present from a peer reviewed publication.
2) At least four must be published in a nursing journal.
3) At least eight studies must be quantitative.
4) Three studies may be qualitative but not required.
5) Three may be EBP project reports or QI studies on the intervention(s)
