Carbon dioxide is expanded in a steady flow, frictionless process through a turbine from 0.9 MPa to 0.1 MPa. The initial temperature is 587°C and the expansion process follows the relation PV2 = constant.

(a) Determine the temperature (°C) of carbon dioxide at the exit of the turbine.
(b) What is the work produced (kJ/kg) during the expansion process?
(c) Calculate the magnitude (kJ/kg) and direction of the heat transfer during the expansion process.
(d) Show the expansion process on P-v diagram.
