A dam holds back water. In the dam is a turbine that produces power with an efficiency of 0.73. The dimension C is 75 ft. The volumetric flowrate is 50 ft3/s, and the piping losses are negligible. If the turbine generates 300 hp in electricity, what is the velocity of the water leaving the turbine, in ft/s? C is the distance from the surface to the center of the outflow pipe.
