Assignment

The main aim of this project is to investigate how CDU students will experience the new Learnline Ultra to improve the online learning system. In this project, participants focus will be international students.

Project Objectives includes Observing and comparing the usability of Blackboard and Blackboard Ultra, Analysing the role of information architecture and visual hierarchy in learning materials in Blackboard and Learning Management system generally and performing a cognitive walkthrough with 6 international students who are currently involved in CDU to help CDU transition to Blackboard Ultra.

The purpose of this review is to explore the following questions:

a) What is the usability of Blackboard and Blackboard ultra?

b) What user research methods could be used to understand the student experience in the Learning Management System?

c) What are the roles of information architecture and visual hierarchy in learning materials in Blackboard and Learning Management system generally?

Requirement:

Analysis and discussion of the project outcomes. From the work you have completed, extract the important issues from the information you have accumulated and choose suitable information (diagrams, images, graphs etc), to aid the comprehension of the text. Explain the
significance of the project outcomes in relation to other relevant published work. Create a customer Journey map.

Discussion
