A gallon of milk should have 128 ounces. A dairy fills milk containers using a process that is normally distributed with a mean of 128 ounces and a standard deviation of 2 ounces. A random sample of 30 containers is taken. The company wants to be 99% confident that the process fills the containers correctly (i.e. not too much nor too little milk).
