1. What is the typical progression seen in language acquisition? How many words do most children have by ages 1, 2, and 3?
2. Nutrition during the first three years of life can have major consequences on a child's development throughout his or her lifespan. What are some specific issues that parents should consider when it comes to feeding their child? Include specific information from your reading and textbook, including calorie intake needs as well as concerns about fat, sugar, and protein.
