In a binary communication system, a binary 0 is transmitted using an electrical pulse of magnitude +2.5V and a binary 1 is transmitted as a pulse of magnitude 0V. the additive noise in the channel is known to be Gaussian with a mean of zero and a variance of 1.2. The communication channel is modeled as a binary symmetric channel.

a. What is the threshold level of this system?
b. Calculate the four probabilities that characterize this channel model
c. Calculate the average signal-to-noise (SNR) in decibels (dB) Assume equal numbers of binary 0s and 1s.
