A spherical mass on a rod of length L rotates rigidly about a fixed axis at the opposite end of the rod. At time t0=0.00s, the sphere lies on the positive x axis. It then turns through an angle of p (that's pi, in case the symbol doesn't show correctly) radians. What is the sphere's linear displacement.
