suppose the memebers of an orchestra are tuning up their instruments. a flute layer is blowing away & sound exactly the same frequency as a voilinist on 1 of the strings. The length of the flute (open at both ends) is 65.0 cm and the length of the violin string (fixed at both ends) is 45.0 cm. The fundamental note is sounding on both. The speed of sound in air is 340.0 m/s in the concert hall.
