You are designing a testing machine for a golf ball manufacturer. You want to simulate a golf swing using a pendulum made of a 0.75 kg clubhead attached to a two meter long piece of aluminum that can be treated as massless. The pendulum starts out with an initial speed of 35 m/s at the top of the swing. At the bottom of the swing the clubhead will collide elastically with the golf ball. What is the speed of the 0.050 kg golf ball just after being struck by the clubhead?
