A bullet of mass 25.0 g is fired into a wooden block of mass 2.200 kg that is initially at rest. The bullet becomes lodged in the block, and the two slide together on a horizontal floor for a distance of 2.71 m before coming to rest. If the coefficient of friction between the block and the floor is 0.61, what is the speed of the bullet before it impacted the block?
