After selecting an agency, you should explore issues such as but not limited to:
- What is the primary purpose(s) of the agency?
- Who are the major stakeholders in the agency?
- What is the source of power for the agency? Enabling statute?
- Explain how your agency engages in delegation, rulemaking, investigations, and adjudications.
- Is the agency accountable to any external governmental body or official? If so, what degree of influence does the external body or official exert over the agency?
- What is the historical origin of the agency? Was it created in response to a major scandal or public outcry? Has it been re-organized? If so, why? More efficient after the re-organization or restructuring?
- Is the agency run efficiently? What is its annual operating budget? Who controls the budget?
Other issues, findings, conclusions and/or recommendations that you feel are important to the analysis of the selected administrative law agency or body.
Required: Diagram of Operations. How does the agency operate? Explain a process within the agency. For example, a welfare application beginning with initial public contact through final adjudication (decision).
Place emphasis on rulemaking or adjudication process (es).
Required: Organization Chart. Is there a hierarchy within the agency? List commissioners, directors, bureaus, divisions, units, etc.
Required: Recommendations for change or opinion about status quo. Would you make any improvements to the administrative law process(es) within agency?

This research needs a PowerPoint presentation too.
Presentation should contain 7-10 slides.
Present the findings, analysis, conclusions and any recommendations.
