Family of 8, hispanic mother and father plus 6 children. They are recent immigrants, parents are not legal citizens of the United States. Youngest child was recently suffering from a high fever and sent to the hospital. One parent is required to stay with the child and other needs to work. The mother and father have signs of PTSD. You receive this referral because teachers did not have a phone number and student was absent from school. A home visit was conducted and the school informed family of rules and consequences.

A literature review paper about the theory(ies) and evidence-based interventions that you will be using with the family. The literature review should include no less than three relevant and current research articles used in the paper in support of the theory and specific interventions for the case.

The literature review will answer the following questions:

What theory(ies) approach(es) do you plan to utilize to assist the family and the Identified Patient (IP) in improving functioning?
What specific intervention strategies will you utilize for this specific family and IP?
What is the rationale for the selection of these intervention strategies?
How does your literature search support the appropriateness of these therapeutic interventions for the family and IP?
Any ethical and diversity issues to be considered in the approach to the specific family and IP?
