When a city is hosting a major event, such as a music festival, religious revival programme, a conference, or football tournament, it is expected that a lot of people will come to attend the function. There will be a need for the provision of food and other essentials. To be able to cater at such events it is expected that a catering company should obtain a certificate of acceptance. In big cities such as Johannesburg and Tshwane food hygiene and safety becomes a challenge when there is such a big event.
