Problem: Suppose that we have sampled n observations from a normal distribution and found a 95% confidence interval for the population mean. If the sample size decreases and the confidence level increases from 95% to 99%, indicate whether the interval will definitely get wider, narrower, or will not be definite either way. Assume that the sample standard deviation remains constant with the new sample size.
