Michelle works at BigCorp, a national retail chain. BigCorp refuses to provide insurance which covers contraception to its employees, citing religious reasons. Michelle, becomes upset, and decides to protest BigCorp’s decision. Each day Michelle works, (in addition to wearing her uniform) she wears a pink armband, which symbolizes her opposition to BigCorp’s policy. After a week of wearing the armband, Michelle employer notices it. He (after realizing its meaning) fires Michelle. Michelle sues BigCorp, alleging that BigCorp violated her constitution rights.
