Two copper wires have equal cross- sectionel area and length of 2.0m and 0.50m respectively.

(a) What is the ratio of the current in the shorter wire to that in the longer wire if they are connected to the same power supply?

(b) If you wanted the two wire to carry the same current, what would the ratio of their cross - sectional areas has to be?(Give your answer as a ratio of longer to shorter)
