Question: What is the racial and ethnic composition of the Armed Forces (Air Force) in proportion in officer positions that are not Caucasian? How does this relate to issues of diversity and discrimination in the workplace?

I chose the air force because that is what I wanted to do when I graduated high school. If you read the article below you will see that 71% of active duty air force is white. That is more than have of the population as a whole. To me this is not diverse. How does any raise stand to move up in ranks if more than half of there coworker look nothing like them. You would think that this would be the case bake in the 50's and 60's but not last year. We have to make a change. Everyone deserves a chance to live there American dream yet from the outside looking in. It's not very many that get to live it. The majority are still just dreaming. This is not a race thing this is a human thing. We have three types of people in this world the ones who feel like they are entitled to everything, the ones who blame the ones who think they are entitled for them not having anything. And the ones who go get even when society wants to hold them back. If you can't join them build your own work force. As Gandhi stated "Be the change you wish to see in this world." I want to see everyone winning no matter the race, age, or gender. That's why I wanted to study business so that I can create businesses that inspire change.
