Along with the severe health and humanitarian crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, executives around the world face enormous business challenges: the collapse of customer demand, significant regulatory modifications, supply chain interruptions, unemployment, economic recession, and increased uncertainty. Besides the health and humanitarian sides of the crisis, the business side needs ways to recover. Ad hoc responses will not work; organizations must lay the groundwork for their recoveries now. As a researcher, you know that the COVID-19 has had unprecedented impacts on the business world, and the worst is yet to come. Companies must act today if they are to bounce back in the future. If applied research is executed, it is hoped that the findings of the study will help the world as a whole recover and become more resilient in the process.

You are required to determine the following, giving reasons and justify with literature support:

(a) What is the purpose of the study?

(b) What is the extent of researcher interference?

(c) What is the study setting? Justify.

(d) What is the time horizon for this study? Justify.
