P2RX7 is a gene , P2X purinoceptor 7 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the P2RX7 gene.

here is some questions about the protein and gene. Search databases and articles to find the following, it is better to use NCBI, bioinformatics tools and scientific references.

(The question needs an expert in bioinformatics)

Questions about the protein:

What is the protein encoded by the gene?

What are the associated gene ontologies and pathways?

Where the protein is expressed (tissues/immune cells)?

Identify based on publications and database search if the gene is associated with any phenotype/condition?

Is the protein associated with any effect on a specific immune related protein expression/ immune cell type numbers?

Questions about the gene:

Genomic context, cytogenetic location, gene, gene structure, and coordinates (keep an image as reference figure)

Any genetic variants associated with any traits/phenotypes? rs#

The variant potential type?protein coding (exonic=structural)/non coding (regulatory such as eQTL, sQTL, hmQTL)

What are the alleles and MAF?

How was it genotyped and how were the results presented (table/plot)?

which statistical test was used to check for significant associations?
